Get the Fika Photos app

Install the app on iPhone or Android, sign in, and add your group.

Fika Photos is a free app for iPhone and Android. It’s the easiest way to add photos from your phone and to browse the group between events. Your account is the same one you use in a web browser, so everything you already belong to is waiting for you.

Install it

Search for Fika Photos in the App Store or on Google Play and install it. The app is free, and it’s the same app whether you’re a viewer, a member, or the owner of a group.

Sign in

Open the app and tap Sign In. A secure browser window opens for you to enter your email and password, or continue with Google or Apple, and then returns you to the app. See sign in and out for the full walkthrough.

If you don’t have an account yet, tap Create Account instead. See create your account.

Joining a group from an invite

Most people install the app because someone invited them. Open the invite link on your phone and it takes you into the app if you have it installed, or to your browser if you don’t. Either way you land on the same join screen. See invite your members.

If you belong to more than one group, switch between them from the group switcher at the top of the Organization tab, or from the group carousel in Settings.

Finding your way around

The app has four tabs along the bottom:

  • Collections, the group’s collections and everything in them.
  • Search, to find a collection by name or tag.
  • Organization, the group itself: people, invites, trash, takedowns, and settings.
  • Settings, your own account, notification preferences, and sign out.

What the app can’t do

A few things are deliberately left to a web browser on a computer, either because they need a big screen or because they only happen once:

  • Creating a new group
  • Billing: plans, payment details, and invoices
  • Transferring ownership and deleting a group
  • Duplicate review
  • Slideshows
