Plans and pricing

Every group can start free. When you need more space, the Standard plan gives your group plenty of room.

You choose a plan when you create a group. A free group is ready right away; choosing Standard takes you through checkout first.

On the Standard plan, if you go past 250 GB, the extra is billed at $0.025 per GB per month, measured as your average usage over the trailing 30 days. You’re never blocked from adding one more photo on a paid plan.

How storage is measured

Storage counts the actual size of the original photos and videos in your group, kept at full quality. Items in your group’s trash still count until they’re permanently removed, so emptying the trash frees space. For the details, see understanding your storage.

Changing plans

Plans are managed by the group’s owner. On a computer, choose Organization in the left sidebar, then the Billing tab. From there you can upgrade, downgrade, cancel, or reactivate, and open the customer portal to update your payment method and see invoices. See manage your subscription.

If a free group runs out of room

A free group can’t add new photos once it reaches 10 GB until you free up space or upgrade. If the group is over the limit for 30 days (from a plan downgrade, for example), the organization is suspended. Your photos are never deleted just for going over.
