How Fika keeps your photos private

Privacy is the point of Fika. Your group’s photos belong to your group, not to a public feed and not to us.

Private to your group

Only people who’ve been invited to a group can see its collections. There are no public profiles and no algorithmic feed mixing your photos with strangers’. You decide who’s in the group through invites, and you can set roles so some people can only view.

We don’t train AI on your photos

Your photos and personal data are never used to train AI models, and we don’t share them with anyone else for that purpose. The optional Photos of Me feature only matches your face so you can find yourself; it doesn’t learn from your library. Turning that on is your choice, and it’s covered in your biometric privacy.

Keeping the group comfortable

• View-only members let you share widely without giving everyone the ability to change things.
• Takedowns let a photo be reported and removed. When a photo is taken down, it can also be blocked from being uploaded to the group again.
